TUESDAY 14TH APRIL

Good Morning Year 5 and 6 - Welcome to Tuesday 14th April.  Meet at 8.45am for registration. If anybody wants to join earlier at 8.30am for support, for the maths target teaching, please do so I will open my zoom up for any questions.


Literacy

Circles - The rubbish bin smelt

WALT - To use colons to introduce lists and semi-colons within lists

Below is your task - please write it out. Triangles and Squares - lots of punctuation missed out as well, so double check.
Circles: This week’s shopping list contains: bananas  pineapple dog biscuits medium sized box baked beans eggs squash pink grapefruit and rice.
Triangles: how to make an omelette first chop some onion using a sharp knife take a frying pan with oil to grease whisk 3 eggs in a bowl pour the eggs into the pan making sure it is hot enough add the onions spreading them evenly around the eggs using a spatula turn the omelette being careful not to fold it finally serve whilst hot

Squares: items to add to my suitcase for my holiday warm jumper it is cold in england in december souvenirs purchased in cambodia as gifts for family toiletries so i dont have to buy new ones whilst i am there walking boots to use when we go hiking hairdryer as it is too cold to walk around with wet hair thick pyjamas as it gets very cold at night

Triangles- 3/12 - 1/6=     4/6-2/5=             4/9 - 1/12=       3/8-2/7 =         7/9-4/6=  
Squares -  8/15x1/3=     10/21x4/5=         10/17x9/10=     16/19x1/2=     12/19x5/7=
Remember how to do them - multiply across then simplify them.

Look at how to log into Kahoot and I will give you the code at 8.45am.  If you use an ipad or tablet download the app. If you are on a laptop find out how to open it.
