Tuesday 21st April

Good Morning Year 5 and 6.




Daily well being checklist - I'd like to see this on a Friday, full of ticks. You do not need to print it off, you can do it online - then upload every Friday. The 10 Principals link into our school IB principals that we discuss during assemblies. 


Meet at 8.45am for registration. If anybody wants to join earlier at 8.30am for support, for the maths target teaching, or anything else please do so, I will open my zoom up for any questions. 
Today's meeting is at 10:00am we will meet today for Maths.
Meet at 1.15pm for Kahoot - faces, vertices 



Literacy 
WALT - to write a sentence using ; 
Can you describe this picture using 2 independent clauses, separated by a semi-colon (remember that a ; replaces the conjunctions, joining 2 sentences together that are linked)

Circles- use a colon and commas to separate your list.

WALT - to pictorially represent the story


The secret behind the door This is the text that you need to change into pictures.

All children to draw the story map. You know how to do it; draw the pictures that represent the story. Don't forget about your punctuation. Please upload your story board to Seesaw with recited story over the top. Remember, this isn't about being the best drawer, it's about you being able to recite your story from your pictures.

Squares -    2/5÷4/5=            8/15÷5/6=              2/3÷10/13=         5/9÷2/6=                5/12÷6/9=
(remember to switch it around, cancel down, then multiply across, then simplify it)

All groups do the 3D pretest on Seesaw activity first, then you can pick one of the others that are on Seesaw
