Swimming (Dry Land Swimming) 01/04/2020

Hi Everyone hope you are all well.

This morning I promised you a video of exercises to do that are swimming related, these exercise can also be used for normal PE as well.

Your 10 exercises are listed below along with a suggested number of repetitions or length of time to hold an exercise.

1. Single Arm Circles (30s forwards and backwards on each arm)

2. High Knee to "T" Balance (Try and hold each position for 15-30s)

3. Downward Dog to Cobra (30s in each position)

4. Bird Dog (30s for each pair (left arm right leg is a pair))

5. Plank or 1/2 Plank (30s)

6. Bridge (30s)

7. Sit up cross over toe tap (5-10 reps on each foot) (If this is to difficult 5-10 normal sit ups with someone holding your feet)

8. Flutter kicks (on front and back 30s)

9. Swimmers / Superman (5-10 reps for each pair)

10. Arm circles with stick (30s) (Focus on correct technique)

You can repeat all of the exercises but don't do more than 3 sets of the 10 exercises
