Good Morning Year 5 and 6

Meet at 8.45am for registration. If anybody wants to join earlier at 8.30am for support, for the maths target teaching, or anything else please do so, I will open my zoom up for any questions. 
Today's meeting is at 10:30am Literacy. ALSO, 11:30 for Guided Reading (please make sure you have read Chapter 1-3)
Meet at 1.15am for Kahoot - co-ordinates  (I will put the code on Seesaw at 1.00pm - please ensure you are logged in and ready for 1.15pm) 


Literacy 
WALT - to use a : to link 2 independent clauses
A colon is used to separate two independent clauses when
the second clause explains or  illustrates the first clause
You need to clean the fish tank out : the water is getting murky.
I have very little time to learn French : the school French trip is in a few weeks. 
He was late for school : his alarm clock hadn’t gone off.

Squares - Brackets - always do BODMAS - Brackets of Divide, multiply, addition, subtraction in that order. for example 5+3x9  you would (3x9)+5= 27+5=32 as Multiplication comes before addition in the importance scale.
